i am a diabetic and i need to know if the sugar in the fruits will
raise my sugar levels
Thank you for a most interesting question. The answer is yes fruit will raise your sugar levels some fruits will raise it more than others.
However it wont raise your sugar levels any faster than other foods depending on when you eat and what you eat the fruit with.
For example fruit juice is likely to increase your sugar levels faster than eating fruit.
Fruit is a vital part of our diet as it contains fibre and many vitamins and minerals essential for a healthy body. Include them in your diet while monitoring your sugar levels and you will feel the benefit.
