A fruit juice detox is a great way to flush out toxin from your body and maybe lose a little weight at the same time.
Don't heat or cook the fruit as cooking destroys vital enzymes in the fruit and the body can digest raw fruit far easier than cooked.
When it comes to choosing juices for your fruit juice detox there are no rules as long as you choose a variety of fruits.
We advise you to stay on your detox for a maximum of three days, however a one day detox will also work wonders and won't stress you or your body as much.
Don't attempt this diet if you are not used to drinking fresh fruit juice. Juicing for health can be powerful and you should start slowly.
Drink juices as soon as possible after they are made.
Go with caution if you suffer from Candida or diabetes or any bowel disorder, as juices have a high sugar content which could aggravate the condition.
Don't use over ripe fruit as they have lost some of their goodness.
Add honey or maple syrup to sweeten juices.
