  4. Powerful Antioxidants
    Berries are said to be one of the biggest providers of antioxidants in the world. When the body ages, or has tissues degrade, oxidation occurs inside the body. This oxidation speeds up the process and causes further problems, and it also makes the body age poorly. Antioxidants slow down and repair these effects. Obviously the effects are not going to keep you young forever, but they should make the aging process a little easier to bear.
